Two days back my class teacher had informed me that the principal wanted to see me and that I need to meet the principal the next day after school assembly. When I had asked my teacher why the principal wanted to meet, the teacher said she had no idea. I got upset and was nervous. I was wondering why the principal want to meet me, what had I done, is the principal angry at me, did someone complain about me, etc. and this way all sorts of thoughts were running at the back of my mind.
I was sure I had no done any mistake, yet I was worried. Anyways, I went and met the principal the next day after assembly. When I went in, I saw the principal having a sheet of paper. I thought was it my TC or a complaint letter! Then the principal smiled at me and asked me to sit down. She told me that she had seen my academic records and my other extra-curricular activities and she was extremely pleased and she was considering me for the post of the school pupil leader! On hearing that, I was so elated and my nervousness vanished. The moment I finished the meeting, I came and told my friends who were also happy for me. I went back home and told my parents and they were excited. It was such a fruitful day for me!!
