My Values, Philosophy, Dreams, and Calling
My personal vision of the future is not something I have taken a significant amount of time to ponder in the past. I have general ideas of where I see myself both personally and professionally in future but have not identified specific steps to get there or pondered why I want to be in that situation. When taking on this somewhat daunting task of identifying my future self it is important to identify my driving values, philosophy, dreams, and my personal calling. Self-reflection on these characteristics and preferences are key to a developing a successful picture of the future.
The first step in creating the picture of my future is to evaluate values, beliefs, and desirable personal characteristics. After considering the list of values in Becoming a Resonant Leader I determined that the values that mean the most to me are: competence, dependability, economic security, family happiness, health, honesty, integrity, logical thinking, responsibility, and self-reliance (McKee, Boyatzis, & Johnston, 2008). It was a difficult task to choose only ten values that are important to me since so many of the values on the list are very worthy values personally and professionally. After further consideration I was able to narrow down the list of values to only the four values that I feel are of utmost importance to me and reflect what I want to continue to focus on in the future. The five values that I will be focusing on are dependability, family happiness, health, and honesty.
Dependability is a very important value to me and has become especially important as my career has progressed. Not only is it crucial to be a dependable employee, but also to be a dependable leader.
My goals in future:
My first goal is nothing but to be a good child to my parents forever and ever. In future my goal would be to be a good person in society. Only some people in this world get their goals come true. There are many great unknown genius and leaders and many other combatant in our world. They are unknown still.
Because no one gets their goal come true. To show all our talent and our goal come true, we must be be "Brave", "Bold", "Brilliant", "Good", "have self-conference" all these can make me a good person, being a good person in the society, Here starts the way of achieving my goal in future.
Now, the first step is to learn well and gain lots of knowledge in future. Learning is not only the question or book for my level. I know that to be a popular and achieving my goal I will learn many general things even of higher classes from many types of sources.
In this world we can gain knowledge from many sources around. First step I will learn from books, knowing things by experience, learn in a library for additional knowledge. Finally I will learn in my mobile for more external knowledge. Always I like to keep my knowledge like a "answer station" this helps me if I am going to an interview for any work.
Encyclopedia is very important. Considering my own brain as "encyclopedia". Finally showing my talent and achieving my goal, I would be a well graduated person I may get any job are having well knowledge and 100% well graduation.
Now, finally telling about my goal is "ISRO SPACE SCIENTIST" this is my ambition and I would do this and I am also done half on the way to achieve my goal. I have got a amazing chance to visit NASA - "National areonatics space and administration" I go the chance by education only.
I am winner of By-jus round 1 - This knowledge helped me to know about NASA and also space and researches in space. I hope I would win the second round, third round at By-jus and visit NASA and also gain addional knowledge by a "visit to NASA". Also this helps me to succeed in my goal.
