There are many tourist spots in Bangladesh. But the main tourist spots of Bangladesh are Kuakata sea beach, Sundarban, Cox’s Bazar, Tea garden at Srimangal, Saint Martins Island etc. Saint Martins Island is one of the best tourist spot. Saint Martin’s Island is the only coral island in Bangladesh. It is a small island in the North-Eastern part of the Bay of Bengal. The local name of the island is “Narikel Jinjira”. The island is enriched with coral of different shapes and colors and the sea turtles. The people of the Island depend largely on fishing for livelihood, as there is a variety of sea fishes. The island has become a popular tourist spot. It is 26 nautical miles away from Teknaf. One can go there by sea bus. It is only about a 2 and half hours journey from Teknaf.
