\large {\green {\sf {\underline {\underline {Step-by-step \: Explanation}}}:-}}

Let the present age of my younger sister be x years.

3 years from now her age will be (x + 3) years

Now, according to the question.

x = 3 \: [(x - 3) - (x - 3)] \\  \\ →x = 3 \:[x + 3 - x + 3] \\ x = 18 \: years

Hence, the present age of my younger sister is 18 years.
