Mythology and Science are two different wheels of a car

If the organisms on Earth along with humans are considered as a point of talk science will say that all those things came out of a single cell and it took 3.8 billion years to come out. On the other hand, mythology will say humans are created by God and Adam and Eve are the first humans used to roam on the planet.

There are many facts that are previously considered as myths were proven by science. Still there are many myths that can’t be proven even by science or the present technology can be blamed for that. Never the less, Science has given death blows to some myths and proven them as just myths and not true at all.

There are many contradictions between science and mythology. There are logic in science and some unfathomable logic in mythology which doesn’t mean they are all wrong. At some point, myths are considered as a lever for scientific discoveries. Folklore, legends, mystical creatures, and more unimaginable could be found in every corner of the past when having a walk through the pages of history.  Some considers them as just stories for children. Some considers them as inspiration for an unimaginable invention.

Whatever it may be, a myth or scientific discovery, they are capable of dragging a person into his thoughts. They are capable of creating new legends to the modern world. They are capable of changing the future. Because they both are two different wheels of a car to reach an ultimate goal called enlightenment.

Answer:

Just as mythology, science attempts to create a coherent underlying world view, which is clearly not possible at almost any state of knowledge. Therefore this task, which clearly cannot be completed, is mythological (we need it for some reason, which is not apparent in science itself). Science holds on to its “belief” traditions, is emotionally involved with them, and holds its core assumptions as authoritative and true, while this cannot always be proven. This is also true of mythology. So mythology and science are like the two wheels of a car.
