Equivalent ratios are two ratios that express the same relationship between numbers. We can create equivalent ratios by multiplying or dividing both the numerator and denominator of a given ratio by the same number.

One obvious property of it is that when you plot a graph of equivalent ratios, they form a straight line. And the reason for it is that they are the proportions in which one quantity is related with another so its obvious that they will increase or decrease in linear proportions hence a straight line going through the origin.

As such there is no particular formula of it just think of tge definition and based on that write some examples of it.
