number of girls = 50% of X= X/2

number of MORE girls = X + 50% of X = X + X/2 = 3x/2

total number of girls

$= \frac{x}{2} + \frac{3x}{2} \\ = \frac{x + 3x}{2} \\ = \frac{4x}{2} \\ = 2x$

total number of students= X + 2x = 3x

therefore,

percentage of girls

$= \frac{2x}{3x} \times 100\% \\ = 66.66\%$
