1 degree =4 min

30 degree east = 30*4 = 120 mins = 2 hours

At 30 degrees intervals to the East of meridian increase the time by 2hrs

At 30 degrees intervals to the West of meridian decrease the time by 2hrs

To the East

30 deg = 2 pm

60 deg = 4 pm

90 deg = 6 pm

120 deg = 8 pm

150 deg = 10 pm

180 deg = 12 midnight

To the West

To the East

30 deg = 2 am

60 deg= 4 am

90 deg = 6 am

120 deg = 8 am

150 deg = 10 am

180 deg = 12 midnight
