SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

The value of n where n is a natural number such that

7n - 3 > 43 & 2n - 1 < 14

EVALUATION

Here the given inequalities are

7n - 3 > 43 & 2n - 1 < 14

Now

\sf \: 7n - 3 > 43

\displaystyle \sf \implies 7n > 46

\displaystyle \sf \implies n > \frac{46}{7} \: \: \: - - - (1)

Again

\displaystyle \sf 2n - 1 < 14

\displaystyle \sf \implies 2n < 15

\displaystyle \sf \implies n < \frac{15}{2}

From Equation 1 and Equation 2 we get

\displaystyle \sf \frac{46}{7} < n< \frac{15}{2}

Since n is a natural number

n = 7

FINAL ANSWER

Hence the required value of n = 7
