Given : N is an 8 digit number

s(n ) denotes sum of its digits.

n+s(n) = 100000000 .

To Find: tens digit

Solution:

maximum  8 digit number can be 999999999

Max Sum of Digits = 9 * 8 = 72

Hence

N ≥ 100000000  - 72

=> N ≥ 99999928

Now N must be of form 999999XY

10X+ Y + 54 +  X + Y  = 100

=>11X + 2Y = 46

X = 4 ,  Y  = 1

is the only solution

99999941  is the number

Ten's digit = 4

99999941   + 59 =  100000000
