Explanation:

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction .

we can just derive it by using an example given ;

Ex :-

If we are pushing a bench , which is attached to 2 other benches , then the force applied on the first bench pushes the next and the force applied on the second bench pushes the third . The third bench which receives the force , has no other bench attached to it so , it exerts the force on the third bench , the third bench on the second and second on the first .

But it gives an equal force applied on it .

By this we can say that ,

every action has an equal and opposite reaction .

Answer:

The main intention of the Protestant Reformation was to reform Catholic Church doctrines and practices. Reformers questioned the supreme authority of the pope and the corrupt practices that financially benefited the papacy. Protestantism spread across northern Europe.

The Counter-Reformation was the Catholic Church’s reaction to Protestantism. The pope organized the Council of Trent, which worked to reform the church and clarify its position on many issues. The reforms revitalized the Catholic Church and led to the formation of religious orders, such as the Jesuits, whose members worked to spread Catholicism around the world.
