6

n(U) = 70

n(AUB)’ = 6

n(AUB) = n(U) - n(AUB)’

n(AUB) = 70 - 6

n(AUB) = 64

n(A∩B)=n(A )+ n(B)− n(AUB)

n(A∩B) = 58 + 32 - 64

n(A∩B) = 26

n(A - B) = n(A) - n(A∩B)

n(A - B) =58 - 26

n(A - B) = 32

n(A’∩B) = n(B) - n(A∩B)

n(A’∩B) = 32 - 26

n(A’∩B) = 6

Answer: (a) n(A∩B) = 26 (b)  n(A – B) = 32 (c)  n(AUB) = 64 (d) n(A’∩B) = 6
