N2......N2+ O2.....O2+ why is there increases in bond order in going from O2 to O2+ while a decrease in going from N2 to N2+​

because to to remove 1 electron from O2 an antibonding M.O is responsible and to remove an electron from N2 a bonding M.O is responsible
