Na and K are alkai metals that are very reactive they are more reactive than H . this is the reason why they displace H atom... but Pt, Pd, and Cu don't.

Answer:
reactivity series
Explanation:
na and k are the most reactive substance in world, so it will displace with any other metal or hydrogen and react with other substances, where as pt, pd and cu come in the reactivity series after hydrogen so it means it's less reactive than hydrogen so it won't displace hydrogen
