The profit percentage = 25%

then, profit = CP × gain %

= 2000× 25/100

= Rs.500

Now, SP when Golu sells cow = CP + profit

= 2000+500

= Rs. 2500

thus, Sonu buys cow by Golu on CP = 2500

when he sells in Rs.2200 then,

loss percentage = 100 × [ CP - SP] / CP

= 100 [2500 - 2200]/2500

= 100×300 / 2500

= 300/25

= 12 % loss
