2x + y = 6 ...(ii)

Samikaran (i) se,

4x - 5y = -16

=> 4x = 5y-16

=> 4x = 5y-16

x = (5y-16)/4 ...(iii)

x ka maan (ii) me rakhane par,

2x + y = 6

 \frac{2(5y - 16)}{4}  + y = 6 \\  =  >  \frac{10y - 32 + 4y}{4}  = 6 \\  =  > 14y - 32 = 24 \\  =  > 14y = 32 + 24 \\  =  > 14y = 56 \\ y =  \frac{56}{14}  = 4

y ka maan (iii) me rkhane par,

x = (5y-16)/4

  = \frac{(5 \times 4 - 16)}{4}  \\  =  \frac{20 - 16}{4}  \\  =  \frac{4}{4} \\  = 1

Therefore, x = 1 & y = 4.
