Choropleth and isopleth mapping:

• Choropleth are maps, where areas are sheltered rendering to a planned key, each shading or color type demonstrating a range of values
• The maps of isopleth diverge from maps of choropleth in that the data is not assembled to a pre-defined component.  
• This sort of map is supreme for viewing gradual change over space and evades the abrupt changes which boundary lines make choropleth maps.
