a) Al has the highest valency
b) Na has the largest radius
c) Na has the maximum reactivity
a) Aluminum belongs to the IIIA group (group 14) of the periodic table and thus has +3 as the highest valency.
Na (group 1) has +1 as it's highest valency and Mg (group 2) has +2 as it's highest valency.
b) The atomic radius decreases as we go from left to right across a period. The elements Na, Mg and Al all lie in the same period . Na being on left to both Mg and Al has the largest radius .
c) The chemical reactivity of metals decreases as we go from left to right across a period. Thus , Na has the maximum reactivity.
