“FEMINISM” - A term often mistaken my many and hated by some. The simple and the most accurate meaning of this beautiful world is equality between all genders. Equality comes with equal rights and opportunities. It is a global fact that even in today’s era women are paid less compared to men may it be any field. The opportunities are often restricted by the boundaries of specifications that can only cater to male society. Feminism does not mean that a women wants to stand first in line or wants to be told “Ladies first”. Feminism means to be treated as equal in every walk of life. Feminism is not against men in any way, it is against the patriarchy. The age old mental belief that women belong in the kitchen and men are the head of a family, feminism is against such rotten beliefs that still prevail in many parts of this world. Women want something that is as basic as food, that is, to be treated as equals.
A man can be a feminist too, a husband for his wife, brother for his sister, father for his daughter, a person who is in the favor of equal rights in terms of political, social, cultural, economical, personal regardless of gender.
Why should women be always dependant on a man to pay for her basic needs like food, clothing and shelter when she, as a human is more than capable of taking care of it. All she requires is a basic educational need so that she gets paid equally for a job that a man does and so be able to afford for herself. To be dependent on someone else is to be a slave for a master.
Feminism plays a vital role in making a country strong, economy rise and builds a stronger world. When a mother is strong mentally, physically, financially to make her own decisions, then the world will see the future kids being more independent and strong. Feminism is not just for the women, it’s for everyone.

एक पुरुष नारीवादी भी हो सकता है, पत्नी के लिए पति, बहन के लिए भाई, बेटी के लिए पिता, ऐसा व्यक्ति जो लिंग की परवाह किए बिना राजनीतिक, सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक, आर्थिक, व्यक्तिगत रूप से समान अधिकारों के पक्ष में हो।
महिलाओं को अपनी बुनियादी जरूरतों जैसे भोजन, वस्त्र और आश्रय के लिए हमेशा एक पुरुष पर निर्भर क्यों रहना चाहिए, जबकि एक इंसान के रूप में वह इसकी देखभाल करने में सक्षम से अधिक है। उसे केवल एक बुनियादी शैक्षिक आवश्यकता की आवश्यकता होती है ताकि उसे उस नौकरी के लिए समान रूप से भुगतान किया जा सके जो एक पुरुष करता है और इसलिए वह अपने लिए वहन करने में सक्षम हो। किसी और पर निर्भर होना मालिक का गुलाम होना है।
नारीवाद एक देश को मजबूत बनाने, अर्थव्यवस्था को आगे बढ़ाने और एक मजबूत दुनिया बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है। जब एक माँ अपने निर्णय लेने के लिए मानसिक, शारीरिक, आर्थिक रूप से मजबूत होगी, तो दुनिया भविष्य के बच्चों को अधिक स्वतंत्र और मजबूत होते हुए देखेगी। नारीवाद सिर्फ महिलाओं के लिए नहीं है, यह सभी के लिए है।

Feminism is not just important for women but for every sex, gender, caste, creed and more. It empowers the people and society as a whole. A very common misconception is that only women can be feminists.
It is absolutely wrong but feminism does not just benefit women. It strives for equality of the sexes, not the superiority of women. Feminism takes the gender roles which have been around for many years and tries to deconstruct them.
This allows people to live freely and empower lives without getting tied down by traditional restrictions. In other words, it benefits women as well as men. For instance, while it advocates that women must be free to earn it also advocates that why should men be the sole breadwinner of the family? It tries to give freedom to all.
Most importantly, it is essential for young people to get involved in the feminist movement. This way, we can achieve faster results. It is no less than a dream to live in a world full of equality.
Thus, we must all look at our own cultures and communities for making this dream a reality. We have not yet reached the result but we are on the journey, so we must continue on this mission to achieve successful results.
