find the equivalent fraction of the two.

 \frac{2}{5} =  \frac{2}{5}   \times  \frac{4}{4}  =  \frac{8}{20}

Hey mate! here's your answer,

We take number of pages are 120 so then,

Nabeel read 2/5 of the book then we have to

120 \div 5 = 24

then each part has 24 pages so

24 \times 2 = 48

Nabeel read 48 pages of the book means 2/5.

Arshad read 3/4 of the book then we have to

120 \div 4 = 30

then each part has 30 pages so

30 \times 3 = 90

Arshad read 90 pages of the book means 3/4.

Arshad read more than Nabeel with

90 - 48 = 42

42 pages.
