Nacl has higher melting point than kcl because

1.Nacl has higher lattice enthalpy as compared to kcl therefore it has higher melting point.

2.Also the size of nacl is lower as compared to kcl

3. The nuclear force of attraction is higher in nacl therefore the force required will be more in case of nacl as compared to kcl and thus nacl has hugher melting points.

This increase in size means that the oppositely charged ions in KCl are further part thanthose in NaCl and therefore it takes less energy to break up the ionic bond in KCl which we see as a reduction in the melting point. Technically the lattice energy in KCl is lower because of the larger size of the potassium ion.
