Nacl is not a conductor of electricity but it conducts electricity in aqueous solution.....becoz the electrons in Nacl are not free enough to move in solid state but when it is dissolved in water it becomes Na+ and Cl- which are free to move. Now , the aqueous solution of Nacl acts as a battery with cathode Cl- and anode Na+ ... The Na + I'd now can attract negative charge and Cl- positive charge.
This , it conducts electricity.
Hope it helps you.
