Answer:

first, you have to find perimeter

perimeter = 2 ( 180m + 120 m)

= 2 × 300 m

= 600m

distance in 5 round = 600m × 5

= 3000m

SOLUTION:→

Given :

  • Nagma runs around a rectangular

        park 180 m long 120 m wide  at the

        rate of 7.5 km/h

To find :

  • How much time will she complete

       five rounds

Firstly find the perimeter of given rectangle

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

                                      = 2 ( 180m + 120m )

                                      = 2 ( 300 m )

                                      = 600m

Now, find total distace

Nama completed 5 rounds of the

rectangular park.

∴ Total distance = Perimeter × 5 rounds

                          = 600m × 5

                          = 3000 m

Change 3000m in km

= 3000 ÷ 1000

= 3km

Now, find the time

Speed=\dfrac{Distance}{Time}\\\\\\\\\therefore Time=\dfrac{Distance}{speed}\\\\\\\\\implies Time=\dfrac{3}{7.5}\\\\\\\\\therefore Time = 0.4\:hrs

So,

Time taken = 0.4 hrs = 24 min
