Na2SO4 is formed by the reaction of strong base NaOH with strong acid H2SO4. It is formed by the complete replacement of ionizable H+ ions of H2SO4. As Na2SO4 does' not have replaceable H+ ions. It is a natural salt.

      NaOH + H2SO4           Na2SO4 + H2O

While NaHS04 is formed by incomplete replacement of H+ off by a base:
     H2S04 + NaOH   ———>   NaHSO4 + H2O
It further reacts with base to form normal salt:

    NaHSO4(aq) + NaOH(aq)    —————>  Na2SO4(aq) + H2O
As NaHSO4 has one replaceable H+ ion. It can react with base so it is acidic salt.
Hope it helps u mate!!!

Answer: Sulphuric acid is a strong acid, and sodium hydroxide is a strong base. When they react, they form a salt and water. The two products of the reaction are NaHSO4 (sodium bisulphate) and Na2SO4 (sodium sulphate).

Explanation:

NaHSO4 is an acidic salt because it can donate a hydrogen ion (H+) in water, forming HSO4- ions and making the solution acidic. This is because HSO4- is the conjugate base of H2SO4, which is a strong acid.

Na2SO4, on the other hand, is a normal salt because it does not react with water to produce an acidic or basic solution. The reason is that it is derived from the strong base NaOH, which completely neutralizes both H+ ions from H2SO4 in the reaction. Therefore, Na2SO4 does not contain any acidic or basic properties.

The acidity or basicity of a salt is dependent on the acid or base from which it is derived. NaHSO4 is an acidic salt because it is derived from a strong acid, while Na2SO4 is a normal salt because it is derived from a strong base.
