Answer: In every case for finding the zeroes just equate the function to zero and solve for variable.

Zeroes are as follows

4] 1) x = 0

2) y = -b/a

3) x = 5/4

4) y = -1/3

5] 1) x = 4/3

2) x = -4/3

3) no zeroes

6] zeroes are x = 1,2,3,4

7] f(1)-f(-1) = -3 + 5 = 2
