Ten games which are played using stick and ball are -

(i) Ball Hockey - Ball hockey is a team sport. The aim of the game is to score more goals than the opposing team by shooting the ball into the net of the opposing team.

(ii) Ringette - Ringette is a girls' non-contact winter team sport played on an ice rink. It is one of the most popular team sports for females in Canada.

(iii) Billiards - It is played on a rectangular table with a number of small balls and a long stick called cue.

(iv) Broomball - The object of the game is to score more goals than the opponent team. Goals are scored by hitting the ball into the opponent team's net using a traditional broom or a paddle shape stick designed for the sport.

(v) Field Hockey - Field hockey is a team sport of the hockey family. Each team plays with ten players and a goalkeeper. The objective of the game is to carry a round, plastic hockey ball with a hockey stick to the rival goal.

(vi) Polo - Polo is a horseback ball game. It is one of the oldest known team sports. The game is played by two teams against each other with the objective of scoring as much goal by using a long-handled wooden mallet to hit a small hard ball into the opposing team's goal.

(vii) Softball - Softball is a game similar to baseball played with a larger ball.

(viii) Bandy - Bandy is a sport played on ice using ice skates, Players use sticks to direct a ball into the goal of opposite team.

(ix) Stickball - Stickball is a street game similar to baseball, usually played in large cities in the Northeastern United States.

(x) Floorball - Floorball is a type of floor hockey, played with five players and a goalkeeper in each team.
