Damodar Project Canal is the longest canal in West Bengal which is 692 metres long and 12 meters high from this canal there are two canals taken out one is right bank canal which is 89km and it's responsible forirrigating around 4.2 Lakh hectares of land and the left bank is 137km long and this one is used for irrigation.
