There are 2 types of respiration namely-

1) Aerobic respiration

2) Anaerobic respiration

Both forms produce ATP( Adenosine triphosphate)

The reactions-

1)C6H12O6 + 6O2 - 6CO2 + 6H2O + ATP

2)C6H12O6 → 2C3H6O3+ ATP
