There are quite a few substances that are observed in the small intestine, but to name just one then it has to be glucose.

Glucose goes through the process of digestion along with carbohydrates, and lands in small intestine.

It is absorbed here with the help of blood capillaries, and then transported to other body parts, including kidney.

Filtration is done in kidney, and then again re-absorption takes place to stop glucose to run out of urine.

The name of the nutrient that is absorbed in the small intestine and reabsorbed by the kidney tubules as well is Glucose.

Breakdown of carbohydrates takes place in mouth as well as in small intestine. It is absorbed by the epithelial cells of the small intestine. When blood filters through the kidney, urine formation takes place. Meanwhile the glucose content is reabsorbed by the kidney which was earlier absorbed by intestine.

The reabsorbtion of glucose increases its retention in body.
