hello!

virus is the living organism without any cellular material.

it has only genetic material i.e., DNA or RNA with a protein coat i.e. caspid

and other intresting fact about virus is it is inactive / dead outside the host and active / living inside the host.

viroid is another one and it has either RNA without a caspid

WolverineX24: how can you say its a living thing
WolverineX24: they do not have self reproduction
WolverineX24: not metabolic activities....
Anonymous: no...it starts replication immediately after it enters the host.
WolverineX24: but it first hijacks the host genome
Anonymous: thtas why it is called as a connecting link between living and non living
WolverineX24: not like bacterias which divide
Anonymous: whatever..it shows a defining living character i.e., replication.
WolverineX24: ya I agree but how can you say its a living structure
WolverineX24: OK but what about metabolism
