Heyy..
Here is your answer.

Basically, vaccines are the medicine which are used to prevent infectious diseases containing a weakened or harmless version of a pathogen.

A vaccine is a biological preparation that improves immunity to a particular disease and typically contains an agent that resembles a disease-causing microorganism. The agent stimulates the body’s immune system to recognize it as foreign, destroy it, and ”remember” it, so that the immune system can more easily identify and destroy any of these microorganisms when it encounters later.

Mainly vaccines are widely used against:-
●Polio
●Measles
●Diptheria
●Mumps
●Whooping cough
●Tetanus
●and even different types of meningitis.

Hope it helps.
Have a good day.

Inactivated vaccines and antiboitics are made up of weak or dead pathogens.

Antibiotics are used to fight many infectious diseases like Malaria, Measles, Mumps, Tuberculosis etc. Penicillin was discovered using these pathogens.

Apart from Vaccines and Antibiotics, these dead or weak pathogens are used in the clinical field for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of several infectious diseases.
