Answer:

i)aluminium, iron and zinc

ii)Gold and silver

Explanation:

i)Metals like aluminium, iron and zinc do not react either with cold or hot water. But they react with steam to form the metal oxide and hydrogen. Metals such as lead, copper, silver and gold do not react with water at all.

ii)Gold and silver are two metals which, since gold and silver are the least reactive, do not react at all with water.

°°° Explanation °°°

( A ) aluminium

  • (i) Iron metal does not react with cold as well as hot water but reacts with steam.

  • (ii) Metals such as lead, copper, silver and gold do not react with water at all

( B ) iron and zinc

  • More heat is evolved during the reaction of sodium metal with water due to which the hydrogen gas formed catches fire. On the other hand, less heat is evolved during the reaction of calcium metal with water which cannot make hydrogen gas burn.
