Schottky defect is generally found in strongly ionic compounds having high coordination number and made up of anions and cations of nearly same size. On the other hand Frenkel defect arises when a cation leaves it's normal lattice position and occupies an interstitial position.

Hey there !

Answer :

AgBr show both frenkel and schottky defect.

Frenkel defect : It occurs when ions from the lattice point is displaced to an interstitial site creating a vacancy at its original site. eg : ZnS and AgBr.

Schottky defect : It occurs due to missing of atoms or ions from the lattice point. eg : NaCl and AgBr.
