HELLO THERE!

When Formic acid (HCOOH) reacts with concentrated sulphuric acid, the neutral gas formed is Carbon Monoxide (CO).

HCOOH + H₂SO₄ ----> CO + H₂SO₄.H₂O

Properties of this gas:

=> This gas is neutral (has no effect on litmus paper).

=> It is highly poisonous. It combines with the Haemoglobin of our blood to form a stable compound, carboxy-haemoglobin (HbCO), which reduces the surface area of RBCs to carry oxygen to the cells.

HOPE MY ANSWER IS SATISFACTORY...

Thanks!
