All the plants, trees parts are used in different ways, either for medicinal, ornamental or atleast as a firewood or as fertilizer after it get degraded in the soil. Either the people do not like to use a particular part in today's life or they do not aware of the use of a specific part. Scientific advancement has discarded the use of certain parts of plants/tree. For eg. Banana leaf, banana trunk etc., has been replaced by paper plates, paper cups etc. Tulsi leaf has been replaced by Pain balm. Mehandi is replaced by artificial colour laced cones. All the parts of Banana and Coconut tree is used invariably. That was the reason in olden days elders used to say that one has to grow atleast one Coconut or Banana tree in his home, to remind a person that one has to be helpful to others, society etc., in all ways.
