the decomposition reaction of CaCO3 (Calcium Carbonate ) is ;

CaCO3 -> Ca(OH)2 + CO2 ; where CO2 (Carbon Dioxide ) is used by plants to make their food by the process of photosynthesis and Ca(OH)2 is Calcium Hydroxide

the reaction of photosynthesis is ;

CO2 + H2O -> C6H12O6 + O2 ; WHERE C6H12O6 IS GLUCOSE , O2 IS OXYGEN , H2O IS WATER etc

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
