c. C horizon.
a. topsoil (A horizon):

b. subsoil (B horizon):
The B horizon, or subsoil, is a dense layer of mostly fine material that has been pushed down from the topsoil.
c. C horizon:
the layer in a soil profile below the B horizon and immediately above the bedrock, consisting chiefly of weathered, partially decomposed rock.
