here is ur answer

Normally the skin colour prevalent in India is brown. In some areas like jammu and kashmir their are few people who have skin colour cream white it is very less frequent but in most cases the skin tone is brown, and the colouration varies with the temperature as well as the regions. In most cases the north indians tend to be fairer than south indians.

The so called ‘white’ in our definition are infact light brown in colour and the ‘darks’ are deep brown in colour .the european white are rarest only can be found in some cases of jammu and kashmir, the darkest skin colour are also rare in our country ,only found in original inhabitants of andaman and some cases in other parts of country.

According to Fitzpatrick scale three types of skin tone can be seen-

type 3-  (scores 14–20) sometimes mild burn, tans uniformly (cream white; fair with any hair or eye color)

Type 4- (scores 21–27) burns minimally, always tans well (moderate brown)

Type 5 - (scores 28–34) very rarely burns, tans very easily (dark brown)

To sum it up the country is diverse with the skin tones however we have a misconception that fairer ones are so called ‘white’ but that is rarest and in fact they are mostly light brown. And also our mindset is like that of colonials as we are too much obsessed with skin tone as it can be easily observed everywhere. So be proud of what u have and don’t be obcess with petty things like skin colour.

I hope it may help u
