Name all the types of endocrine glands with thier harmones produced and effects on body .

1) Pituitary gland - growth hormone - regulates growth of the body.
Deficiency - Dwarfism
Excess - Gigantism

2) Thyroid gland - thyroxin hormone - regulates metabolism in our body.
- Iodine is necessary for the secretion of thyroxin.
Deficiency -- Goiter

3) Parathyroid gland - Parath hormone - regulates calcium levels in our body.

4) Thymus gland - thymosin hormone - stimulates the development of the disease fighting T cells

5) Pancreas - insulin - regulates blood sugar level .

Deficiency - diabetes

6) Testis - testosterone in males - responsible for sexual maturity.

7) Ovaries - estrogen in females - responsible for sexual maturity.

8) Adrenal glands - adrenaline hormones .- regulates blood pressure , heart beat and any. spontaneous action .

Thyroid Gland .

It Produces Thyroxine hormone to control the metabolism as, carbohydrates and nutrients.

The increasement of this hormone at a very high rate can cause a disease 'Goitre'

Pituatary Gland.

This Gland produces Growth Hormones.

It plays a major role in controling the growth of body.

Pancreas.

This Gland produces Insulin Hormones

They control tha blood sugar in a body.

Thymus Gland.

This Gland produces Thymus Hormones.

They play a major role in the development of immune system.

Parathyroid Gland

They produces parathormone hormone to regulate calcium and phosphate level.

Hypothalamus.

It produces releasing and inhibitory hormones to regulate the secretions of hormone from pituatary gland.

Adrenal Gland.

It produces Adrenal hormones.

They play a major role to regulate heart beat and breathind and other metabolism processs.
