Zinc belongs to group 2 & forms zinc sulphate which is amphoteric and soluble.

In group 2, there is no amphoteric metal. Three amphoteric metals are Aluminium, zinc and lead and none of them in present in group 2.

Sulphates of Magnesium, and Strontium and Beryllium are soluble.
