Parasites are organisms that procure their nutrition outside their body by either residing inside the host or staying near the host.
Some of the parasites are:
1) Leech - It stays away from the host and then procures nutrition
2) Tape worms - Stay inside the host by procuring a part of nutrition from them
In both the cases Human Beings, Animals can be taken as hosts.
