there are three laws of motion (newton's laws) which are as follows :-
⇒ 1st law - newton's first law states that if an object is at rest or in motion, it'll not change it's state. means if it's at rest then it'll be at rest unless an external force is applied. similarly, if an object is in motion, then it'll be in uniform motion unless an external force is applied. this law of motion is also known as law of inertia.
⇒ 2nd law of motion - this law of motion states that acceleration is directly proportional to the force and inversely proportional to the mass of the object. this law of motion is also known as law of force and acceleration.
⇒ 3rd law of motion - 3rd law of motion states that for every action, there's an equal reaction opposing it. means if a force is applied, then there'll be equal opposite force but it'll act on two different bodies.
