There are actually three different kinds of neurons and everyone has various functions.
It includes sensory neurons. It receives the impulses and also carries them from sense organs to brain or spinal cord.
The inter neurons link motor and sensory neurons and also interpret the impulse.
Finally, the motor neuron carries impulses from spinal cord and brain to glands or muscles.
