These organisms do not have any outer covering on their cellular components so they are termed as prokaryotes. The nuclear region is not richly developed in them. The genetic components like chromosomes, genes are present in a non-uniform or asymmetrical shaped structure called nucleiod in such Prokaryotic cells.
