Seed Coat !!

The outermost hard covering of the seed is called seed coat. The seed coat has a tiny hole through which the seed gets water.

Seed Leaves (Cotyledons) !!

These store food for the baby plant till it grows its own leaves and starts making its own food. It depends on the food in the seed.

Seeds of some plants like gram, peas and beans have two seed leaves called dicot seeds.

Seeds of some Plants like rice, wheat, maize have one seed leaf. Such seeds are Called Monocot seeds.

Embryo (Body Plant) !!
