Answer:

The three types of plate boundaries are- divergent plate boundary, convergent plate boundary and transform fault boundary. The Himalayas lies in the convergent plate boundaries, which is formed by the convergence of the Indian and Eurasian plates.

Explanation:

Divergent boundary:

a divergent boundary or divergent plate boundary is a linear feature that exists between two tectonic plates that are moving away from each other. Divergent boundaries within continents initially produce rifts, which eventually become rift valleys

convergent boundary:

convergent plate boundary. A tectonic boundary where two plates are moving toward each other. If the two plates are of equal density, they usually push up against each other, forming a mountain chain. If they are of unequal density, one plate usually sinks beneath the other in a subduction zone.

fault boundary :

Plate boundaries can be faults and faults can be plate boundaries. ... If rock on each side of a fault is part of a different plate, which is to say, moving relative to a substantially different pole of rotation, then the plate boundary is a fault and that fault is a plate boundary
