Plant hormones are called as phytohormones or growth regulators. They are the chemical compounds which regulate control and coordination in plants. Phytohormones present in plants are:

- Auxin is present in the apical meristem of plants and they stimulates plant cells to elongate
2) Cytokinins:
- They promote cell division in plant
3) Gibberellins:
- Promote fruit and flower development with auxins, and also promotes seed germination
