Law of Conservation of Mass, it states that matter can not be created nor destroyed. That is the reason why the number of atoms on the LHS are always equal to the number of atoms on the RHS, Hence we can also say that the mass of all the reactants and the product remains constant so one thing can be made very clear that molecular mass of all the atoms before and after the reaction is conserved which means mass cannot be destroyed... :)
