Savanna-Savanna lies near the equator on the other hand steppes lies further from the equator.Savanna lies between a tropical rainforest and desert.Steppes are found on nearly every continent with the exception of Australia and Antarctica.Being near the rainforest savanna they have two major season a hot,wet summer and a marginally cooler ,but much drier winter .The climate of steppe is too dry to support a forest but not dry enough to be a desert.Savanna had tall and Perennial grasses on the other hand Steppes had shorter grasses.Hope this information will clear your doubt about the topic.
