1. PITUITARY GLAND which secretes GROWTH HORMONE or STH (SOMATOTROPHIC HORMONE). It helps in skeletal growth. (Hypo secretion can cause DWARFISM and hyper secretion can cause GIGANTISM)
2. THYROID GLAND secretes THYROXINE (CALORIGENIC HORMONE). It increases blood sugar level and body temperature. (hypo secretion can cause CRETINISM in children, MYXOEDEMA, GOITRE AND hyper secretion causes GRAVE'S DISEASE)
